If you have gauze, this is a much better alternative as it does not easy break and really resembles closely what a mummy looks like.

In order to ensure that your costume stays the whole night, you can pin it to your clothing, or use double-sided tapes to secure the tissue or gauze in place. Underneath the gauze, you should use light colored clothing to give the impression that you are wearing nothing else but the gauze.
